
Brenda Armenta, Associate Attorney
Brenda Armenta is an associate at Forootan Law, where she works closely with Managing Attorney Shirin Forootan in litigating employment law claims on behalf of both employees and employers, including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and various other employment-related issues.
Prior to joining Forootan Law, Ms. Armenta worked for approximately five years at law firms that handle employment law and personal injury matters. Because of her demonstrable passion for advocating for employees’ rights, Ms. Armenta was one of only 13 recipients in California to earn the 2020 Employee Justice Summer Clerkship from the Foundation for Advocacy, Inclusion, & Resources (created by members of the California Employment Lawyers Association).
Ms. Armenta earned her Juris Doctor from Chapman University, Fowler School of Law, in 2021, where she earned CALI Awards (highest class grade) for Legal Research and Writing I and II. In recognition of her skills, she served as an academic fellow for Legal Research and Writing I and II in her second year of law school and helped first-year law students develop their legal research and writing skills. Ms. Armenta earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2016.
